1837 The widow (Mar Townsend Addams, then 86 years old,) of Major John Addams of Cumberland Head applied for pension. Her claim was allowed for the services of her husband as a Superintendent of Mechanics for the period of two years.
1874 The Y.M.C.A. of Burlington presented its library to the Fletcher Free Library.
